Public and Private Tops
A Private Top is a personnal ranking of your Favorites on a specific topic which anyone has access to (not open for voting).A Public Top is a list created by a member and open to public votes during a period of time chosen by the creator of the Top. A Public Top is Open during the voting period and Closed at the end of it. Closed Tops remain accessible to everyone.
Create Your Top
As a member, you can create an unlimited amount of Tops, in 3 simple steps:1- Tops settings
First, you choose between Private or Public Top. Here, you choose a name for the Top (eg. The Funniest 2009 advert), enter a brief description of it. If the Top is Public, you then select the voting period (1, 2, 4 or 8 weeks). Finally you select a category for your Top. (Cinema & TV, Music, Technology, Fun, Games, People, Art & Culture, Lifestyle, Sport, Other).
2- Favorites Selection
This is the step whne you add your own favorites to your Top. You must select a minimum of 3. Note: Please to the Terms of Use regarding the rules about the content published.
3 - Publishing your Top
Once you've finished Step 2, click on the "publish" button to complete your Top and publish it on Smokin' Tops.
